Songs written on and about the Beara Peninsula, Co. Cork, Ireland. The songs were completed in February and March, the album was recorded in April and was released in June. The musicians were Mike O'Connor (fiddle), Terry Mann (sax and bass), Steafan Hannigan (whistles, pipes, percussion, banjo, wooden sax), Julia Lane (harp) and Annie Power (harmony). Liv Eliot engineered and the album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Overtones in London.
